Building Emotional Security Introducing Principles of Theraplay- UK Informed Practice

This training revisits key concepts of attachment and trauma, focusing on how safety and trust are built within relationships. It explores the role of play in supporting social, emotional and cognitive development and introduces the core principles of Theraplay-UK informed practice, including Engagement, Structure, Nurture and Challenge. This session makes clear links between these principles and everyday interactions, as well as targeted, structured support within schools, education and community settings.
