Joining as part of business support

PA has a reputation as an excellent provider of clinical services but none of this would be possible without our amazing business support team within the practice.

Our Referral Team are crucial to our work and the staff skilfully offer advice, take referrals and requests and place work with our employed and associate clinicians. PA’s service development staff are continuously promoting services and training events by reaching out across many different platforms. The Finance team work hard to develop good relationships with all of our customers and staff whilst organising all invoicing and payments. The Reception staff are the welcoming face of PA when clients and clinicians arrive at our offices and offer everyone reassurance and seamless support. Our HR team manage our ongoing recruitment processes admirably. Whilst the management team keeps every cog moving smoothly.

As a long-standing placement provider for Trainee Clinical Psychologists, we are well placed to support and develop newly qualified Psychologists and invite any newly qualified or soon to be qualified Psychologists to contact us.

Therapy Services Clinical Lead

Therapy and Multidisciplinary services, working with clients across independent and statutory services.

Training and Development

Counsellor/Therapist

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Counsellor/Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Psychology Associates. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of pathways, supporting children, young people, families and adults within a well-established psychological service based in Exeter.

The Role

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to develop your career in counselling and psychological therapy? Psychology Associates are seeking a registered Counsellor/Therapist to join our supportive and collaborative team.

You will have the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan, including children, young people, families and adults. The role involves delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions in line with professional and ethical standards, contributing to multidisciplinary working, and engaging in regular supervision and reflective practice.

This post is based in Exeter.

What We Are Looking For

Someone who can bring professionalism, clinical competence and a commitment to high-quality care to our psychological services. The successful candidate will:

– Be registered with a relevant professional body (e.g. PTUK, BACP, BABCP)
– Be committed to ongoing professional development
– Be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
– Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
– Be eligible for an Enhanced DBS check

We welcome applicants at all levels of experience and are able to tailor career progression and development accordingly.
