We offer a wide range of education services and have a ‘whole setting’ approach to wellbeing and academic achievement. As a leading multidisciplinary practice, Psychology Associates offers a service that is extensive and bespoke. We work closely with Schools, Colleges, Local Authorities and national charities. In particular, we are very proud to be partnered with Operation Encompass to provide the Professional’s Advice and Guidance line, providing education staff with free and confidential advice and consultation on supporting children who have experienced Domestic Abuse. Psychology Associates is an Ofsted Registered ‘Outstanding’ Adoption Support Agency with a wealth of experience in supporting adoptive children, young people and families that access the Adoption Support Fund.
The multidisciplinary nature of our team means that our menu of services and extensive and can always be tailored to your need. We can provide support services such as assessment, therapy, staff training and services tailored to your setting.

Our Specialist Support Education Team is made up of:
- Educational Psychologists
- Clinical Psychologists
- Occupational Therapist
- Highly Specialised Speech and Language Therapist
- Counsellors
- Wellbeing Practitioners
- Creative Therapists
We can provide services such as:
- Assessment and one-to-one work – With individual children/young people and family members
- Counselling, Therapy and intervention – Including Creative Therapies, Mindfulness, Theraplay, Compassion Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Speech and Language Therapy and Sensory Integration/Occupational Therapy
- Staff Training – Including; Understanding and Supporting ACEs, Trauma and Attachment, Precision Teaching, Person Centred Planning, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), Mental Health First Aid, Sensory Integration and staff reflective practice
- Consultation – With school staff and/or parents to explore concerns and generate immediate strategies
- Staff support and supervision – Including support for senior leadership and for ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) trained staff/others supporting vulnerable children. Staff supervision groups provide the opportunity to reflect and focus on social-emotional wellbeing and mental health, family support and safeguarding and social communication and interaction. - Parent workshops and Family Therapy – Direct support, Systemic Family Therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Parenting
- Therapeutic Schools Programme – A ‘whole school’ approach to understanding and supporting developmental trauma
- Advice to support Pupil Premium and Pupil Premium Plus funding.
