Louise joined Psychology Associates in September 2022 and is a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist who specialises in working with adults, using integrative and relational approaches. Louise has experience of supporting adults with complex difficulties in a range of NHS and voluntary settings. Louise‘s background also includes working with couples, families and groups and she has extensive experience of working with individuals who have experienced sexual violence, including childhood sexual abuse or domestic violence, and a special interest in working with trauma. Louise uses a range of therapeutic tools and techniques depending on the specific needs of the client, including creative, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, narrative and trauma-focused techniques. Louise aims to work collaboratively alongside the client to help bring about change and acceptance.
