Robert Fitzpatrick
Play Therapist
Robert is a Play Therapist who works with children who have experienced child developmental difficulties, relationship difficulties and trauma. These concerns often manifest in the child’s behaviour. Robert specialises in working with children and young people who have experienced several difficult transitions in their life, considering the numerous forms of loss that are attached to each life event that children need support to work through. Robert has additional experience in working with children diagnosed with complex learning disabilities (PMLD) having worked within special needs schools for several years. Robert works in an extremely child-focused way. In therapy, the child leads the way, and the therapist follows. This is a nurturing experience in which the child/young person is able to find their words to communicate and express themselves through the creative tools available.
