Hannah Avent
Specialist Occupational Therapist

Hannah Avent is a HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist who specialises in Sensory Attachment Intervention and Ayres Sensory Integration.
In her role as an OT, Hannah has supported a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service working alongside families and their children, helping understand what is being communicated through behaviour and exploring the sensory needs that may be at the root of these behaviours. Hannah adopts a holistic approach, valuing the whole person, and is dedicated to educating people on their nervous systems and how to regulate them.
Hannah loves the opportunity to take her clinical practice outside and has devised and introduced a successful Ecotherapy programme at a city farm for children aged 8-14 who experienced anxiety and low mood. She is also trained as a Mindfulness in Schools Teacher, EcoSensory Therapy Practitioner and a Laughter Yoga Leader.
