Katherine has worked in both adult and child & adolescent services within the NHS and the independent sector, working with people experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural and cognitive difficulties. Katherine has provided specialist clinical assessments and interventions for looked after young people with complex emotional and mental health issues as well as extensive experience of consultation and training to carers and local authorities. She has also completed assessments for the court of both children and adults in cases of parenting capacity assessments.  Katherine’s specific interests are learning disabilities, attachment difficulties, looked after children, parenting difficulties and the impact of trauma and abuse.
