Dr Fiona Gill
Clinical Psychologist
Dr Fiona Gill is a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist who has worked in mental health services in the NHS for over 25 years. Fiona specialises in working with adults with intellectual disabilities, people who are neurodivergent (e.g. autistic) and their families or support staff. She is experienced in undertaking specialist diagnostic and psychological assessments (e.g. Cognitive, Mental Capacity, Dementia) and writes her clinical reports to a high standard, including for Court of Protection.
Fiona is also passionate about making psychological therapy accessible to everyone. She has expertise in adapting therapy for people with communication or literacy needs, sensory differences or attention-related challenges. She is experienced in making clinical information and reports accessible to carers, enabling them to adjust the support they provide.
Fiona’s clinical work is integrative, informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and trauma models. Working collaboratively, with compassion and professionalism are key values underpinning her work.
