Dr Catherine Mortimore

Clinical Psychologist

Catherine is a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with experience gained over 20 years of working within the NHS and specialist education in assessing and treating children, adolescents and young adults. This includes providing cognitive, neuropsychological and neurodevelopmental assessments, and contributing to diagnostic assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Catherine specialises in providing therapeutic support to young people with neurodevelopmental differences and their families, using an integrative approach to best support the individual. Catherine uses a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Catherine has also been a tutor on the Bristol Doctorate in Clinical Psychology course and has her work published in the British Journal of Psychiatry. Catherine is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society, and a full member of the Division of Clinical Psychology.
