Dr Brigid Duffy

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

 Dr Brigid Duffy is a HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience of working with a Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team in the NHS. Brigid has expertise in working with Looked After and Adopted children and draws upon her knowledge of attachment theory and developmental trauma to guide her work. Brigid currently works in a dual role: Clinical Lead for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and Senior Clinical Psychologist within the Children and Young people in Care Team in CAMHS.  Her special interests are: Child and Adolescent Psychology; Looked After and Adopted Children; Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children; Child Maltreatment/Abuse, Attachment and Loss, Assessment of Parenting, Contact Issues and Attachment Styles.
