Dr Ann Galloway

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Ann Galloway is an HCPC Registered Clinical Psychologist with over 28 years clinical experience within the NHS and private practice. She completed her MSC in Clinical Psychology in 1992 and later, whilst working as a clinician within the NHS, her PhD both with the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. Ann later became the Director of a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Training Course before leaving for New Zealand in 2004 where she continued to practice as a Clinical Psychologist, both in private practice and for a District Health Board. Ann was Psychology Advisor to New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation providing consultation and treatment for people with physical injures, abuse histories, medical misadventures and much more. Since returning to the UK Ann was Clinical Director for Psychological Services within her local NHS Board. Ann also provides expert witness assessment and reports for the Courts.

Ann offers a range of therapeutic services to adults and older children, drawing on a range of approaches to assist clients struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma and any abuse related difficulties.
