Anita is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and Health Psychologist. Anita has extensive experience of providing reports for Court and offers expert witness services for personal injury proceedings, fitness for work assessments and medical negligence cases. Anita has many years’ experience in clinical health psychology and adult mental health, specialising in assessing and treating trauma caused through stressful events such as accidents but also trauma created from medical procedures. Examples include traumatic births, traumatic and extensive surgery, consequent compromised body image and intensive care trauma. Anita also has considerable experience in working with individuals affected by pain, chronic illness such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and respiratory problems. She has a particular interest in compromised body image and the impact of cancer. Anita regularly assesses and treats individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, OCD and relationship problems. She works both individually and with couples, and is experienced in group work.
