Dawn Clark

Accredited Psychotherapist and Counselling Psychologist

Dawn Clark is a BABCP, BPC (DIT), BACP Registered Psychotherapist who specialises in working with adults presenting with a broad range of mild to complex mental health difficulties. Dawn has experience of working with children aged 4 to 18. Dawn is confident working with clients in a range of circumstances, including common mental health difficulties, relationship difficulties, workplace difficulties, trauma, PTSD and childhood abuse and neglect. Dawn has 15 years’ experience of working in the NHS in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has worked for six years in private practice. During her career, Dawn has gained managerial, teaching, supervisory and clinical experience with adults, and clinical experience with children. Dawn has an interest in and previous experience of working with those in care or previously in care, together with clients who have been fostered or adopted. Through her work as a school counsellor, Dawn has offered consultation with school staff and/or parents to explore concerns and generate immediate strategies to assist children.
