Bernadette is a highly skilled and registered Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EDMR) therapist. She has extensive experience working with individuals of all ages who have experienced complex trauma, particularly related to sexual abuse and sibling abuse. Bernadette provides specialised formulation, therapeutic intervention and support to those who have displayed sexually harmful behaviors, or have been victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. Bernadette can also offer training, consultations and supervision in these areas. Bernadette has a strong academic background, her work on sibling abuse has been published and she has lectured at both Plymouth and Exeter University. As an associate EMDR therapist at PA, Bernadette can offer EMDR therapy and attachment focused EMDR therapy to adults and children dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, phobias, and grief.
