Training and Events

Knowing how important training is, Psychology Associates pride themselves on having provided major organisations and other healthcare professionals; training, consultation and supervision.  We are known for our informative, ethical and constructive training courses that are tailored to meet individual organisations’ and staff’s needs.
Currently Psychology Associates has a wide range of HCPC Registered Clinical, Neuro, Educational, Forensic and Psychologists within our practice.  We have recently employed Occupational and Creative Therapists to broaden the range of training programmes we can offer. We therefore have an extensive knowledge base from which we can develop, deliver and evaluate high quality generic and bespoke training.

“That was the best training I have had in ten years as a teacher”.

We have a wealth of knowledge around education and training at university level and understand the need to adapt training to different learning styles and delivery methods.
Our training packages include presentation packs for all the delegates and we will work with you and your organisation to ensure that the training programme and associated materials are developed, delivered and evaluated to meet your specific requirements.
Alongside our clinicians providing training, our Senior Clinical and Educational Psychologists are also able to offer supervision to fellow psychologists, health and social care professionals, residential home staff and creative therapists. We have clinicians on our team that specialise in a wide range of areas from Adult Mental Health, Child and Family, Adoption and Fostering and Risk Assessments who can offer you supervision at competitive prices.
All of our qualified clinicians are DBS checked; they are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, and have professional indemnity insurance. As a practice, we will also ensure our training is thoroughly evaluated so it can continuously be improved. This combined with our strong emphasis on CPD ensures that the content of our training is informed by the latest research and best practice.
