2021 has been a momentous year, with so many significant achievements made to further support child victims of Domestic Abuse. This includes the ground-breaking new Domestic Abuse Act, which ensures that children are now recognised as victims of domestic violence and abuse in their own right, a new Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy, and updated Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance. But what does this mean for those supporting healthy relationship education in schools and education settings?
This virtual session will explore the impact of these important developments for supporting children and young people, and will share resources and links to support all staff working in education. This is aimed at staff working in any role across the age range in education settings.
This workshop will be delivered by Elisabeth Carney-Haworth OBE and Dr Emma Corrigan, Lead Educational Psychologist.
