This training workshop will be led by some of our most experienced multidisciplinary clinicians, Dr Kerry Davison, Clinical Psychologist and Karen Allin, Counsellor. Using creative therapeutic approaches appropriately with children young people can develop a secure therapeutic and supportive relationship, help provide a fun, safe and secure environment and also help professionals understand the child/young person’s strengths to aid confidence and self-esteem building. This training is beneficial for any professional who supports children and young people, including teachers, teaching assistants, psychologists, therapists, youth workers and those who work in children’s residential homes. The training will explore a range of therapeutic approaches that can be added to a professional’s ‘toolkit’.
This training workshop will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
