Dr Pippa Moran
Dr Pippa Moran is an HCPC registered and BPS Chartered Clinical Psychologist working in West Cornwall. Dr Moran has been providing expert witness assessments through Psychology Associates for over four years and is highly experienced in undertaking child, parent, and family assessments for family proceedings and pre-proceedings cases. Dr Moran’s vast experience in working over a number of multi-disciplinary settings (including CAMHS, Children’s Centres, schools and GP surgeries) means that she is able to draw upon a wide range of knowledge and understanding when completing both assessment and therapeutic work with children and families.
Dr Moran is experienced in working with clients with a wide range of presenting problems including anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, bereavement and low self- esteem. Dr Moran has particular skills in working in short term therapies (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) with children and adolescents, but also in interventions integrating attachment theory, systemic ideas and third-wave CBT approaches. She also has an interest in antenatal and postnatal mental health and has undertaken training in Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP). Dr Moran has a strong interest in evidence-based practice, and has published a number of research articles in this field.
