Dr Emma Pillinger
Emma has wide ranging experience working in both public and private sectors, in community, residential and hospital services. In addition to providing therapeutic intervention to individuals and groups, she offers specialist assessment, formulation and intervention for mental health, personality, behavioural, organic and forensic issues, including specialist risk and personality assessment. Emma also provides consultation to staff teams and organisations, and supervision to other psychologists and professionals. She specialises in working with personality development and disorder, and has a special interest in the areas of organisational dynamics, bereavement and loss, suicide, and the psychological implications of attachment, trauma and physical ill health. Emma also works independently as a Functional Medicine Practitioner, addressing the underlying causes of chronic disease, using a holistic, systems-oriented approach.
