Dr Beena Parmar
Dr Parmar specialises in working with children and adults with complex mental health difficulties including personality disorder, anxiety and depression. Dr Parmar has a particular interest and experience in early attachment, personality difficulties and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She has a strong interest in offering Compassion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Approaches. She has experience in offering consultation to psychology colleagues and wider health professionals. A key part of her role in the work has been to develop and deliver groups to Foster Carers and Adoptive Parents focusing on the Attachment Model. Dr Parmar has vast experience in undertaking cognitive and personal injury assessments for the courts and also has experience in assessing individuals who are deemed a risk. She has experience in Family Court Assessments that consider Attachment Disorder and Parenting Assessments.
