Dr Alisdair Radcliffe

Clinical Psychologist

 Dr Alisdair Radcliffe is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and is also a member of the British Psychological Society. He specialises in working with adults with learning disabilities, including people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD), staff teams supporting people with a learning disability, and adults with mental health problems. He has extensive experience in providing neuropsychological assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities, with and without complex needs. He is experienced in completing comprehensive assessments and writing high quality reports, adapted to the readership. He also offers therapy for adults for a range of presenting problems and has a specialist interest in systemic approaches. 

He has experience with presenting research at national conferences and has provided specialist training to other health care professionals, such as for IAPT therapists on adapting CBT for working with people with mild learning disabilities. Dr Radcliffe offers supervision to other psychologists and health professionals within his NHS role. He also supervises Trainee Clinical Psychologists, and is a mentor for trainees, on the University of Surrey Clinical Psychology Training Programme. He has held several committee positions within the BPS and NHS.
