Psychology training solutions from Psychology Associates

Psychology Associates is a practice with a strong emphasis on lifelong learning. We provide teaching and specialist placement provision to Clinical Psychology trainees from doctoral courses. We also have a range of training initiatives (see training and current training schedules) and have a strong focus on CPD.

The pool of over sixty Clinical, Neuropsychological, Forensic and Counselling Psychologists within our practice provides an extensive knowledge base from which we can develop, deliver and evaluate high quality generic and bespoke training to a range of service providers and staff groups (see current training schedules). There is a large demand for comprehensive psychological based training within independent, business, social and health care settings. The groups seeking such evidence based training include;

We are keen that our training is fit for purpose so will work with you and your organisation to ensure that the materials are developed, delivered and evaluated to meet your specific requirements. All our associates are members of the British Psychological Society and Health Professions Council so any content of training reflects our professional and ethical guidance.

We view it as imperative that training must be thoroughly evaluated so it can continuously be improved. This combined with our strong emphasis on CPD ensures that the content of our training is informed by the latest research and best practice. As psychologists we are able to ensure that research is well scrutinised and methodological weaknesses are highlighted.

Within the practice we also have a wealth of knowledge around education and training at university level and therefore we are able to incorporate an understanding of the need to adapt training to different learning styles and delivery methods.

If you have a query about any aspect of our training please contact the Lead for Learning Difficulties, Education and Training Dr Camilleri at kelly.camilleri@psychologyassociates.org.uk or through the Finance and Administration Team.
