Quality Standards

Our mission is to become the first port of call for clients seeking high quality psychological services, provided by fully qualified experts who prioritise ethical practice. We want you to expect the highest possible quality service from us. To achieve this we have set stringent quality standards for the whole organisation.

Our practice standards are:

  • Our work is evidence-based and supported by up-to-date research
  • All clients feel they are treated with empathy, dignity and respect
  • People using our services understand the process, the diagnosis and treatment options

The standards for our psychologists are:

  • Every psychologist is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Each psychologist goes through a rigorous recruitment process including interview with a Clinical Director, satisfactory references and a review of at least two reports
  • Each psychologist instructed for Expert Witness work has at least five years’ experience since qualifying and has completed training in Expert Witness skills
  • All our reports are checked by a Clinical Director or Senior Psychologist
  • Every psychologist providing a therapy service is qualified to deliver that therapy
  • Every psychologist meets British Psychological Society standards and HCPC standards in conduct of their work
  • All instructed psychologists complete Continuous Professional Development, as specified by HCPC to ensure their knowledge is up to date
  • All instructed psychologists receive clinical supervision that meets BPS guidelines
  • Every psychologist has passed an Enhanced CRB/DBS check
  • Every psychologist has Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover of at least £2.5million
